HubSpot Unveils HubSpot AI and New Sales Hub Features at INBOUND 2023
HubSpot, the platform CRM intended for growing businesses, responds to changes in the buying and selling process, marked by the AI revolution and economic uncertainty. In 2023, HubSpot already introduced over 200 updates for customer-facing teams, including marketing, sales, and customer service. At INBOUND 2023, HubSpot's annual conference and product showcase, the company launched some of its most impactful innovations to date.
HubSpot AI: Platform-scale AI-powered capabilities to help SMBs
HubSpot introduced HubSpot AI, a new suite of AI-powered products and features designed to optimize productivity, harness data for greater performance, and foster deeper relationships with customers. This novelty includes:
- AI assistant: Generative AI tools covering marketing, sales, and service to help teams create content, generate ideas, build websites, and more.
- AI agents: AI-enhanced tools to automate and improve customer service via live chat and email.
- Predictive artificial intelligence: Predictive features powered by AI, such as AI-based sales forecasts.
- ChatSpot (currently in public beta): A combination of the power of ChatGPT with data from HubSpot's intelligent CRM to deliver powerful generative AI capabilities.
These AI tools are designed to increase the operational efficiency of teams performing different functions in contact with customers.
New Sales Hub Features and Expanded LinkedIn Partnership
HubSpot recognizes that the traditional approach of doing more in sales is no longer effective. The company therefore redesigned Sales Hub with several innovative capabilities:
- Prospecting space: A space dedicated to sales representatives, with the aim of streamlining prospecting activities.
- Advanced lead management and reports: Better organization, follow-up and prioritization of leads.
- Intelligent opportunity management and forecasting: AI-powered capabilities to better prioritize efforts and predict outcomes.
- Seamless planning and transfers: A function to ensure smooth transitions between business development and sales.
- Expanding the partnership with LinkedIn: Synchronizing HubSpot's intelligent CRM with LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
These updates aim to help sales teams build connections, grow, and succeed by optimizing both productivity and customer engagement.

In addition to HubSpot AI and Sales Hub updates, HubSpot also shared other launches at INBOUND 2023, including:
- CRM UI extensions: CRM cards are micro-applications that live on your CRM data sheets. They extend HubSpot's capabilities beyond those offered by native features and push the boundaries of possible integrations with third-party systems. With CRM cards, teams can complete tasks that would typically require access to multiple systems, all from HubSpot.
- Commerce Hub: HubSpot customers in the United States can now use Commerce Hub, in an effort to streamline the process from opportunity to revenue generation.
- Mobile messaging: HubSpot's SMS feature gives marketers an easy, instant, and personalized way for marketers to connect with customers, strengthening relationships and improving campaign effectiveness.
- New Smart CRM customizations: Customers can now set up and extend data more flexibly with HubSpot's smart CRM, making it easier to adapt it to their unique needs and processes.
The aim of HubSpot is to enable businesses to adapt and thrive in a constantly changing customer engagement environment.
