Lakhos at FABTECH 2026: Co-exhibiting with Genius ERP to support manufacturers
From October 21 to 23, 2026, Lakhos will be in Las Vegas for FABTECH 2026, North America’s largest event for metal forming, fabricating, welding, and finishing. A few weeks after IMTS in Chicago, we are returning to the floor of a major American trade show alongside our partner, Genius ERP. The goal remains the same: to demonstrate live how our native connector links HubSpot CRM to Genius ERP. The audience, however, is different, and that is exactly what draws us in.
The FABTECH 2026 trade show
FABTECH is the premier event in North America for metal fabrication. It covers everything related to cutting, bending, stamping, welding, and finishing, from equipment to the software that runs the shop floor. The 2026 edition takes place at the Las Vegas Convention Center, marking the show's first return to Las Vegas in ten years. Organizers expect over 31,000 industry professionals, suppliers, and innovators to attend.
Genius ERP is actually one of the official sponsors for this edition, which speaks volumes about the importance of manufacturing management in the show's discussions.
What sets FABTECH apart from IMTS
IMTS casts a wide net. It is a massive showcase of all manufacturing technologies, from robotics to additive manufacturing. FABTECH is much more niche. The visitors are metal fabrication shop owners, operations managers, estimators, and salespeople who work daily with drawings, quotes, and tight deadlines.
A large portion of these companies specialize in custom manufacturing. Every order is slightly different from the last, every quote requires precise calculation, and the transition from sales to production is often done manually. For a HubSpot agency like Lakhos, which specializes in the manufacturing sector and ETO (engineer-to-order) models, it is hard to find an audience more aligned with what we do every day.
Lakhos and FABTECH: A growing relationship
This is what makes this participation special for me. I have visited FABTECH several times over the years, first as a simple attendee, then while accompanying two of our clients on-site: Laval Poinçon Matrice and Azimuth Machinerie. In both cases, we had just finished implementing HubSpot CRM, and the show became the first real testing ground for activating sales with the new tool.
These experiences taught me one concrete lesson: a trade show is the moment you see if a CRM is truly being adopted by the sales team or if it is just gathering dust. Over three days, meetings happen back-to-back, business cards pile up, and promises to follow up multiply. Without a clear sales process and a well-structured sales pipeline, the majority of these opportunities are lost in the weeks that follow.
Our manufacturing specialization and our status as a HubSpot Solutions Partner have been years in the making. After supporting our clients at these shows, it was time for Lakhos to represent itself, in a concrete way, at the largest manufacturing trade shows in North America.
The manufacturing trade show: A real-world test for your CRM
Think about the journey of a prospect met at FABTECH. They stop by the booth, discuss a laser-cut parts project, leave their contact information, and ask for a price. Back at the office, the salesperson must create the contact, open an opportunity, send the specifications to estimation, and produce the quote in the ERP. If the two systems don't talk to each other, every step involves manual data entry, and every manual entry delays the response to the client.
In custom metal fabrication, the speed of the quote often makes the difference between winning and losing a contract. This is why we insist so much, in every CRM implementation project, on mapping out processes beforehand. Before configuring anything, you must understand how information actually flows between sales, estimation, and the production floor. A good CRM analysis almost always reveals that the bottleneck is not in the tool, but in the transfer of information between systems.
What Lakhos will present at the Genius ERP booth
Just like in Chicago, we will be exhibiting inside the Genius ERP booth, alongside the Genius Solutions sales team. We will be hosting a demo station for Lakhos Bridge, our native connector between HubSpot CRM and Genius ERP.
Visitors will be able to see the connector working in real-world conditions: a deal progressing in HubSpot, customer data feeding into Genius ERP at the right time, and then the quote status flowing back into the CRM to give the salesperson a complete view of their sales pipeline. These CRM and ERP integrations eliminate double entry and allow management to track the entire cycle, from first contact to invoicing (what we call lead-to-cash).
For a metal fabrication shop already using Genius ERP, the question is no longer whether they need a CRM, but how to connect it without complicating the sales team's workflow. That is precisely the role of a HubSpot integrator who understands both the reality of sales and the reality of production. To learn more, our article on HubSpot CRM and Genius ERP for custom manufacturing companies presents concrete integration scenarios, and our joint webinar with Genius ERP shows the connector in action.
Lakhos strengthens its presence in the United States
If Lakhos is crossing the border, it is first and foremost thanks to our niche. For several years, we have made a clear choice: to focus on manufacturers rather than serving every sector. This choice has resulted in dozens of CRM implementation projects for manufacturing companies, a deep knowledge of ETO models and custom manufacturing, and official recognition from HubSpot, which certifies us as a Platinum Solutions Partner with a specialization in the manufacturing sector.
This expertise is now mature enough to be offered on a North American scale. Manufacturers in Ohio, Texas, or Ontario face the same challenges as those we support in Quebec: complex quotes, a sales pipeline that is difficult to forecast, and data scattered between the CRM and the ERP. After HANNOVER MESSE and IMTS, FABTECH is a continuation of this strategy. We aren't here to talk about HubSpot in general terms, but about manufacturing, purchase orders, and shop floor capacity, with people who deal with these issues every day.
